Vicky Kaushal has delivered the biggest blockbuster of 2019 with 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' as the film crosses the Rs 200 crore mark in four weeks. Helmed by debutant director Aditya Dhar, the Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer has mined gold at the box office and creates history as it becomes the first Bollywood film to cross the Rs 200 crore mark which has been produced and released with a cost of under Rs 50 crore. The film is also heading for a business of Rs 300 crore worldwide. The film which released on January 11 has now entered its fifth week.

According to the latest report by, the fourth-week collections of the film stands at a total of Rs 29 crore. The film has collected a total of Rs 200.05 crore at the box office in four weeks. The film also ranks as the highest fourth-week collection after 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'. It is still hard to say whether the film would finish anytime soon as there is not much competition at the box office.

FYI, the film collected a total of Rs 71.23 crore at the box office in its first week. The second-week collection stands at a total of Rs 62.76 crore. The film collected a total of Rs 37.06 crore at the box office on its third week.

The film is based on the surgical strikes carried out on September 29, 2016, by the Indian Army on terrorist launchpads across the Line of Control. The strikes were carried out in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri earlier that month.

Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala. 'Uri' was announced by the producer after one year of the surgical strike in September 2017. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari, and Mohit Raina in lead roles.
